Follow the route of the famous Ćiro train
“Giro de Ćiro” is a scenic bike tour following the trail of “Ćiro“ (pronounced: “Cheeroo“), a famous and beloved local train which used to run on an old historic monorail, built during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, two hundred years ago. The “Ćiro“ trail was revitalized and transformed into a biking, hiking and running track.
This 18 km long scenic track with an approx incline of 3% is secured by a safety fence and equipped with signalization and info boards. Several resting spots, equipped with tables and benches, offer the stunning vistas of the Konavle Valley.
The special attraction of our Giro de Ćiro bike tour itinerary are two tunnels.
Konavle bike tour “Giro De Ćiro” starts at the historic Zvekovica Railway Station which will be our gathering, start and finish point. Proceeding through the picturesque Konavle Valley, we will eventually get to an elevated point with a spectacular vista of Konavle, its quaint villages, vineyards, olive groves, grain mills and small rivers. We’ll then pass through a tunnel, arriving at a railway station situated atop of the hill. This is a perfect spot for a snack and a picture

Different starting times can be arranged. We advise picking you up from your accommodation at 8.00 AM to get the best experience possible.
CANCELLATION POLICY
To complete the booking, you have to go through the payment process.
The tour is considered booked when 50% deposit of the total amount is paid.
In case you cancel up to 7 days before your scheduled tour, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
In case you cancel less than 7 days before your tour or in case of no show, there will be no reimbursement.
In case of bad weather, the decision is up to you. If you feel like biking in the rain, we are ready. If you decide not to go, we will refund the total amount. You can also reschedule. We will contact you about this a few days before. If you don’t respond we’ll wait for you at the meeting point as scheduled.
